For whom every child sees the face of the earth, she is the mother. If anyone in the world can love unselfishly, she is the mother. Every time there is sorrow and happiness, the one who is by your side in affectionate love is the mother. And to get the love of the mother is never necessary to say, love. Today is World Mother's Day.
Every year the second Sunday of May is celebrated as World Mother's Day. Although there is no set time to love and respect mother, today is the day to remember mother with deep affection.
Although World Mother's Day was celebrated in ancient Greece, it was introduced in modern times by an American woman. When a woman named Anna Jarvis of the United States died in 1905, her daughter Anna Maria Reeves Jarvis sought to commemorate her mother's work. One Sunday in 1907, Anna Maria explained the importance of a day for mothers in a school speech.
On May 8, 1914, the US Congress declared the second Sunday in May to be Mother's Day. This is how the journey of Mother's Day begins. In continuation of this, besides America, Mother's Day is now being celebrated with dignity in hundreds of countries including Bangladesh, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Russia, and Germany. However, due to Corona, no formality will be seen on this day. That is why no child will be stingy to get a mother's love in the house.
Who else in the world is like a mother! So every year this day reminds us of the dignity of the beloved mother.
