Total damage from the cyclone worth Tk1,100 crore. Around one crore people in the south-western and north-western regions have been left without electricity. Nadira Begum, 55, from Jhenaidah and Salauddin, 16, from Chattogram's Sandwip. Trees were uprooted the violent cyclonic storm. 

The storm damaged more than a lakh houses in different areas of Khulna, Satkhira and Bagerhat districts. The amount of losses could not be ascertained immediately. Besides, thousands of trees have been uprooted. The entire coastal region has faced extensive damage. Flash-flood water entered into the locality in Noakhalis Hatia. 

Meanwhile, rain accompanied by gusty wind occurred at many districts including the capital. It has been raining almost all night with the gusty wind of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. A tin-shed house was carried away into a ditch by the cyclone Amphan in Noakhali's Hatia. Although the weather has improved in the morning, there are gusts of wind. Cloudy weather is likely to continue today across the capital, according to the weather department.
