The first corona was identified in Bangladesh on March 8. The first one died in 10 days. Two more were infected by his contact. By the end of March, the death toll had risen. The situation deteriorated in April. The list of victims was getting longer and the death procession was increasing. Considering the situation, the government declared a general holiday from March 26 to April 5. In the fifth phase, the holiday was extended to May 5. After that, the leave was extended till May 16. This time the holiday period has been extended till May 30. A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration last Thursday.

Meanwhile, corona treatment using plasma therapy is about to start in Bangladesh. To this end, the Dhaka Medical College Hospital authorities initially collected serum from two corona-free patients on Saturday. It is learned that two doctors who conquered Corona on that day donated plasma. If all goes well, plasma therapy will be piloted for the first time in Bangladesh next week.
