While the number of deaths and
infections are decreasing in many countries of the world, the incidence of
corona is increasing day by day in Bangladesh.
Lockdown is being blamed as the
main reason for this. Already 239 people have died in Corona in Bangladesh. The
number of victims is 15,691. Bangladesh has risen to 34th in the world due to
the record number of attacks. In just two months, it has surpassed India,
Pakistan and Indonesia to reach the hotspots in Asia. In terms of population
density and infection rate, this indicator of infection is terribly obvious.
Pakistan was the hotspot in Asia
even a week ago due to the spread of coronavirus. However, in the last few
days, India has overtaken Pakistan and risen to the top. And now Bangladesh is
ahead of all its neighbors. The first corona patient was identified here on
March 8. Since then, Bangladesh is setting a new record of being attacked every
day. Bangladesh is becoming the next hotspot in Asia. Two months after the
corona was identified, the picture became clearer.
The incidence of the corona is
increasing due to relaxation of lockdown, 1034 people were infected in one day
in Bangladesh.
On Monday, for the first time,
the number of corona infections exceeded one thousand in one day. As such, the
rate of corona infection in Bangladesh is much higher than in other Asian
countries like India, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
Bangladesh ranks 34th in terms of the number of victims. In the last 24 hours,
it has overtaken Ukraine and Romania to become the tenth most infected country
in Asia. Bangladesh is now at the top of more than 50 countries in Asia in
terms of infection rate.
Out of 2 lakh 94 thousand 894
samples in Pakistan, 30 thousand 941 were corona positive. The infection rate
is 10.49 percent.
On the other hand, one lakh 29
thousand 865 people have been tested in Bangladesh till Monday. 15,691 people
have been identified as infected. The infection rate is 12.08 percent.
In Singapore, out of one lakh 75
thousand 604 people, 23 thousand 822 people have been identified as the corona. The
infection rate is 13.56 percent.
Out of one lakh 61 thousand 351
people in Indonesia, 14 thousand 265 people have been identified as the corona. The
infection rate is 8.84 percent.
In all these countries, the
corona test rate is three times higher than in Bangladesh. South Asian
countries Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar have reported no
deaths in the past few weeks. The number of victims in these countries is also
small, less than one thousand.
Analysts say the corona test rate
is still lower than in other countries, despite an increase in infections. Fear
is growing as the lockdown relaxes during peak hours. The lockdown situation in
the country has started to change. All types of vehicles except public
transport are seen on the roads. The raw market was already open, along with
other shops. Crowds are growing in front of the markets. Traffic jam has also
started on the roads of Dhaka. As a result, the situation in the country is
becoming increasingly difficult. In the first month, the number of daily
attacks did not exceed 50. The number of infected people in the first four
weeks was 218. 20 people died. However, from the beginning of the second month,
the number of victims began to increase. On the first day of the third week of
the second month of infection, the number of infections exceeds 500. Since
then, about 500 people have been infected with the deadly virus every day.
