Launched the world's first Coronavirus game to teach children social distance

Almost all children like to play computer games. Every day they are getting acquainted with new games online. A professor at a British university made the world's first coronavirus game for them during this time of corona infection. That teacher, Richard Wiseman, has launched a game for children called Can You Safe the World that will help them understand social distance.

Richard Wiseman said he went for a walk in Britain once during the lockdown. At the time, pushing pedestrians and cyclists seemed like a computer game to him. That's when the idea of that game came to his head.

Wiseman, a professor of psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, says research has shown that games that encourage socially positive behavior can affect people in the real world.
Wiseman's game with designer Martin Jacob has already gone viral in the online world. "It's a fun way to get the message across," he said.

Professor Wiseman said many studies have shown that if the message is conveyed in a certain way through video games, it has a real impact on the lives of people, especially children.
The game's creators who are trying to create an app say governments, schools, and health authorities could use the game to encourage social distance. According to them, it will be quite useful to maintain social distance after lifting the lockdown.

The game shows how pedestrians, cyclists, and people can avoid sneezing and coughing on busy roads. The main goal of the game is to save as many lives as possible. In addition to defending yourself in the game, the more people you can save, the higher the score of the game will be.

Wiseman said 15,000 people have played the game since its launch on Friday. Although the game is meant to encourage children, adults are also playing the game.

The way of earning income of the people cannot be stopped indefinitely

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that storms and epidemics will come. We have to deal with them and move forward. The joint efforts of the people are needed to deal with any disaster. No matter how deep the crisis, if the people are united, it is not a difficult task to overcome. "You have proved it again," she said. With your cooperation and support, we have been able to deal with the Coronavirus epidemic for two and a half months with great success. Until this crisis is resolved, I and my government will be by your side, InshaAllah. She said this while addressing the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday.

She said that the way of earning income of the people cannot be stopped indefinitely. Economic activities should be started in the interest of livelihood.

In her speech, she highlighted the current context of the country. She also described the various steps taken by the government. In her speech, the Prime Minister highlighted the current context and said, "Danger never comes alone." The Coronavirus epidemic hit the coastal districts of Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions last Wednesday with a devastating cyclone 'Ampan'. Due to the infinite mercy of Allah and our advance preparation, it has been possible to avoid extensive loss of life and property. In order to prevent the damage caused by the cyclone, we have made arrangements to bring more than 2.4 million people living on different islands, pastures and coasts and about 6 lakh cattle to the cyclone shelter. She said that despite all preparations, several people were killed and many houses were destroyed when trees and walls collapsed. I pray for the forgiveness of the souls of the dead. We have already started distributing relief items among the cyclone victims and started repairing houses.

"The whole world is in turmoil today because of the deadly coronavirus epidemic," she said. In addition to the loss of countless lives, the epidemic has taken a heavy toll on people's livelihood. Everything, including offices, courts, mills and businesses, had to be shut down except for some emergency services to prevent the spread of the infection. Millions of people are unemployed today. They have lost their livelihood. The Prime Minister said the holy Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in a different context this year. A deadly virus called corona has spread around the world in the form of an epidemic. The cyclone also affected several districts in the southwestern part of the country. This year we have imposed restrictions on all types of public gatherings to prevent coronavirus. Therefore, it will not be possible to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr this time as usual. She said that instead of Eidgah Maidan, arrangements have been made to perform Eid prayers by maintaining social distance in the mosque and following the hygiene rules. Earlier, the inaugural ceremony of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation, Independence Day and Bengali New Year has also been celebrated on radio, television and digital, avoiding public gatherings. The Prime Minister said, "I request everyone to enjoy Eid with their family members while sitting at home."

At the same time, I urge the able-bodied to not forget your poor neighbors, villagers or locals in these difficult times. Stand by them as much as you can. Then your house and heart will be filled with the joy of Eid. In her address, the Prime Minister said, "On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend my best wishes and congratulations to the doctors, nurses, and other health workers who are providing medical services to the patients suffering from corona from the front." Greetings to the police, BGB, Ansar and village defense forces, members of the armed forces and officials of the central and field administrations who are implementing various government programs including distribution of relief items at the risk of their lives. The Prime Minister said in many cases they have to make arrangements for the burial of the dead person affected by Corona. Journalists are highlighting the Corona situation by ignoring the risk of infection and helping to make people aware. Thanks and best wishes to them too. "In doing so, a large number of our law enforcement personnel, doctors and health workers, a significant number of administration officials, bank employees and journalists have been infected with the coronavirus," she said. Several doctors and health workers, members of the police and Ansar forces, administration officials and bankers, and journalists have already died. I seek the forgiveness of their souls and extend my deepest sympathies to the bereaved family members.

Sheikh Hasina said more than 650 Bangladeshi brothers and sisters living abroad, including in the United States and the United Kingdom, have died of the coronavirus. I wish forgiveness of all souls and peace of soul. Highlighting the various steps taken by the government to deal with corona, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "We have already increased our medical capacity many times over." In addition to government hospitals, we have also involved a significant number of private sector hospitals in the treatment of coronavirus. 2,000 doctors and 5,000 nurses have been recruited on an emergency basis. They have already started work. Hospitals have been instructed to ensure the treatment of all types of patients.

She said everything including offices, courts, mills, and businesses had to be shut down except for some emergency services to prevent the spread of the infection. Millions of people are unemployed today. They have lost their livelihood. The government has taken all possible initiatives to help these unemployed people. In addition to food aid, cash is being provided. So far, 1 lakh 62 thousand 867 metric tons of rice and 91 crores 47 lakh 72 thousand rupees in cash have been allocated. 80,000 metric tons of rice have been allocated for sale at a rate of 10 kg. In May, an additional 5 million cards were distributed to poor families to buy rice. 5 lakh such families who have lost their jobs but are not included in any assistance program have been given a total of Tk 1250 crore at a cost of Tk 2,500 through mobile phones. More than Tk 17 crore has been provided in two phases for the students and teachers of Qawmi Madrasa and 122 crores 2 lakh 15 thousand takas for the imams and muezzins of mosques across the country. Besides, special measures have been taken to help the marginalized sections of society. The Prime Minister said as long as the situation is not normal, these programs will continue. Many charitable individuals and organizations have come forward to distribute relief goods to help the poor. I sincerely thank them.

The Prime Minister said, "We have already announced an incentive package of Taka 1 lakh 1 thousand 117 crore to revive the economic activities and production system." Which is 3.6 percent of GDP. 18 economic sectors including export-oriented industries, small, medium and cottage industries, agriculture, fisheries, poultry, and animal husbandry have been brought under these incentive packages. A total of Tk 2,000 crore has been allocated to Palli Sanchay Bank, Karmasangan Bank, Prabasi Kalyan Bank, and Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation to help the youth and expatriate siblings who have lost their jobs. The bumper yield of boro paddy has been a blessing for us in this disaster moment. This year, boro paddy was planted in about 48 lakh hectares of land. In the meantime, Boro paddy cutting and threshing are almost over. Sheikh Hasina said, "I congratulate the farmer brothers and sisters and all those associated with agriculture for playing an important role in ensuring food security in the country at this time of disaster and wish them a happy Eid." We have already started collecting paddy and rice so that the farmers get a fair price for it. This season, 22.25 lakh metric tonnes of foodgrains will be procured, which is 2 lakh metric tonnes more than last year. We have provided combined harvesters and reapers at subsidized rates to the farmers to assist in harvesting and threshing of paddy. 200 crore was allocated for this. Tk 5,000 crore has been allocated for farmers at only 4 percent interest. The Prime Minister said, "I instructed the leaders and workers of Bangladesh Chhatra League to stand by the farmers in cutting and threshing paddy." They stood by the farmer, obeying my instructions. At the same time, the leaders and workers of Krishka League, Juba League, Swechchhasebak League, and Awami League have helped in harvesting paddy. Farmers did not have to spend any money on this. Farmers have been able to bring paddy home quickly. I congratulate all these BCL activists who have stood by the side of the farmers.

The Prime Minister said the World Health Organization (WHO) forecast that the coronavirus epidemic would not go away suddenly. But life will not stop. Until a vaccine is discovered, we may have to live with the coronavirus. Economic activities should be introduced in the interest of livelihood. Almost all countries in the world have already been forced to relax the lockdown. Because it is not possible to block people's income for an indefinite period. Not for a developing country like Bangladesh. She said a loan facility of Tk 5,000 crore has been implemented for special funds for export-oriented industries. Those who could not join the work, they are also getting a 60 percent salary. The salary has already started to be paid from this incentive package. On the one hand, the income of the owners has stopped due to the closure of shops and jute businesses, on the other hand, the employees have also suffered. Most store owners cannot afford to pay their employees. As a result, they are living an inhuman life.

The Prime Minister said, "We have given permission to open some shops before Eid in compliance with health rules and regulations." Those who have opened a business and those who are going to shop, you must protect yourself. Avoid crowds. Your protection is in your hands. Remember if you are safe your family will be safe, neighbors will be safe, the country will be safe. Towards the end of her speech, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that after a long month of fasting, the Almighty has fixed the day of Eid-ul-Fitr for the joyous festival. Forgetting the hardships and fatigue of a month, this is the day to rise in joy and happiness. This year we will not be able to meet each other physically or exchange Eid greetings, but we will search for relatives through telephone or virtual. In this way, I will give thanks to Allah for this great blessing. I am concluding my speech by quoting a few verses of the timeless song of Kazi Nazrul Islam, the rebellious poet, the poet of humanity, the poet of Islam: O mind, happy Eid has come at the end of that Ramadan fast, you give it to me today, listen to the heavenly admonition. Your gold-grain, balakhana all the way lillah de zakat, the sleep of the dead Muslim to break today, and the happy Eid came at the end of that fast of Ramadan. All of you stay well, stay healthy, stay safe. Enjoy the joy of Eid sitting at home. May Allah Almighty help us. Eid Mubarak to everyone again.

The way Eid has started

While Eid celebrations span across three days, the term Eid-ul-Fitr means “festival of breaking the fast”. This festival marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan. The festivities begin after the sighting of the crescent moon but if the moon is not spotted it continues onto the next day. Streets are decorated with beautiful lights while everyone wears new clothing. However, this time the celebrations stand canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Eid was introduced after the Prophet (peace be upon him) migrated from Mecca to Medina. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) arrived in Madinah and saw that the Jews living in Madinah were celebrating Nowruz on the full moon of autumn and Meherjan on the full moon of spring. They organize various festivals, ceremonies, and various joyous festivals in this festival. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade Muslims to observe these two festivals. He said, "Allah Almighty has given you two holy days like Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azhar in return for that festival." In it, you celebrate with holiness.

Muslims perform the first Eid-ul-Fitr prayers on March 30 or 31, 624 A.D., according to the second Hijri. At that time there was no shopping for new clothes like the current Eid. But the joy was not less.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to take a bath on the day of Eid, use perfume, wake up in the morning and wear good clothes. He used to eat some sweets on Eid-ul-Fitr.

Zakat is a provision of Allah as a right of the poor. Zakat is obligatory. If you do not pay Zakat or deny it, you will have to suffer terrible consequences in this world and in the Hereafter. And if zakat is given, man will not only attain purity and increase in his wealth, but it will also pave the way for his liberation in the hereafter. In addition, zakat plays an important role in the social life and economic development of the nation. Zakat sanctifies wealth. Zakat purifies the rich. Zakat alleviates poverty. Zakat increases production. When zakat is distributed among the poor, miserable, and needy people, their purchasing power increases. As a result, the demand for these people increases. Production and supply increase to meet demand. It also increases demand, production, and profits. As a result, the economy as a whole is moving. Increased economic activity.

On the morning of Eid-ul-Fitr, it is obligatory for Sahib Nisab to perform Fitra on behalf of himself and his family members. Whoever owns seven and a half loads of gold or 52 and a half loads of silver or equivalent assets, he is the master of Nisab.

1. Miswak is circumcised. 2. Bathing is circumcision. 3. Circumcision is the use of perfume. 4. It is Sunnat to go to Eidgah after eating something. It is better to eat an odd number of sweets; Dates are very good. 5. It is better to walk to the Eidgah. It is desirable to go one way and come another way. On the way to Eidgah, it is Sunnat to recite Takbeer (Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, La-Ilaha Illallahu Wallahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, Wa Lillahil Hamd) in a low voice. It is desirable to wear the best clothes possible. It is Sunnat to pay fitra in charity before going to the Eidgah for prayers. 9. It is Mustahab to express happiness on the day of Eid and to speak with a smile when meeting someone. 10. It is desirable to exchange greetings.

Eid prayers are two Rak'ats and it is obligatory. There is no Azan-Ikamat in it. Eid prayers are also obligatory on those on whom Friday prayers are obligatory.

Good initiative mess

The Prime Minister announced TK 2,500 for the helpless unemployed people affected by the Corona. This initiative starts with a combination of mistakes. It is getting late for the Prime Minister's 'Eid gift' to reach the affected people. The reason for this is the irregularities and nepotism of the local people's representatives and negligence in the preparation of the list.

Last Thursday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Tk 1,250 crore program. The money is supposed to reach the mobile phones of the identified victims after the inauguration. But after the inauguration, irregularities in the list of different areas, incidents like enrollment of many people with the same mobile number came up. The list also includes well-to-do individuals, political party leaders, and other beneficiaries. There were also protests against the people's representatives for making irregularities on the list. The local administration has also started an investigation into irregularities in various places.

According to the Ministry of Relief and Disaster Management, the same number has been used next to at least 16 percent of the names. The ministry has taken alternative measures after identifying it. However, it is said that no number will be credited more than once. So even if the number is given more than once, the money will go only once. The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has instructed to revise the list and send it again as there are reports of irregularities in various places.

The deputy commissioners have been directed to send the revised list yesterday. Some lists have the same mobile number more than once, so instructions have been given to correct the list. The money will then be sent to the accounts of the beneficiaries. Apart from the Prime Minister sending money to some mobile banking accounts, the money was not sent to the accounts of other beneficiaries.

State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Enamur Rahman told the media that it was not done for embezzlement. The list also has the same mobile number 200 times. This is because the mobile numbers of those who have been listed have been repeatedly placed next to the names of those whose mobile numbers were not found during the listing.

The ICT department has verified that 15-18 percent of the beneficiaries on the list has used the same mobile number. He said it is not possible to send money like this now. Because once you send money to a mobile number, the system will not allow you to send money to that number anymore. He said the government would open bank accounts for those who do not have mobile phones and send money there.

A letter from the ministry seeking a revised list said, "The guidelines for providing cash assistance to 5 million families affected by the Corona in Mujib's year include floating people, construction workers, public transport workers, restaurant workers, peddlers, railway porters, laborers, wharf workers, humanitarian assistance including hairdressers, day laborers, rickshaw/van drivers, and lower-middle-class people who earn their livelihood on daily income is to provide guidance on how to include these populations. The list needs to be finalized to include those who have been left out.

Protests: The same mobile number has been used 200 times in the list of six and a half thousand families in Lakhai Upazila of Habiganj district. There are also names of many rich people and relatives of people's representatives. As a result of irregularities, the real poor and helpless are in danger of being deprived of incentives. Six thousand 620 families in six unions of Lakhai Upazila are getting government financial assistance of two and a half thousand in cash.

Deprived victims of the union have protested after the irregularities were exposed. The local administration, however, has promised to investigate the incident. In this regard, Habiganj Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamrul Hasan said, there were some inconsistencies in the verification and selection. An investigation has been started into these matters.

A UP member has committed the same incident at Sharankhola in Bagerhat. He added his mobile number next to the names of 40 people. Not only that, but the list of Sharankhola Upazila also includes the names of Chowkidars, various government beneficiaries, and well-to-do people.
The Upazila Nirbahi Officer has given a notice to the irregular UP member to show cause.

Similarly, 12,600 poor people in 14 unions of Kushtia's Daulatpur Upazila are expected to receive cash. In this regard, the names of the extremely poor, day laborers, poor people who have become unemployed due to corona have been omitted and the names of the rich and wealthy have been included in the list.

Corona treatment, this is the first plasma therapy in Bangladesh.

In Bangladesh, 16 more people have died of coronavirus in one day. The death toll rose to 314. Another 930 people were infected on the day. As a result, the total number of victims in Bangladesh stood at 20,995. This information was officially announced on Saturday.

The first corona was identified in Bangladesh on March 8. The first one died in 10 days. Two more were infected by his contact. By the end of March, the death toll had risen. The situation deteriorated in April. The list of victims was getting longer and the death procession was increasing. Considering the situation, the government declared a general holiday from March 26 to April 5. In the fifth phase, the holiday was extended to May 5. After that, the leave was extended till May 16. This time the holiday period has been extended till May 30. A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration last Thursday.

Meanwhile, corona treatment using plasma therapy is about to start in Bangladesh. To this end, the Dhaka Medical College Hospital authorities initially collected serum from two corona-free patients on Saturday. It is learned that two doctors who conquered Corona on that day donated plasma. If all goes well, plasma therapy will be piloted for the first time in Bangladesh next week.

Small investors are living inhumane lives

Trading in the country's stock market has been suspended for almost two months due to a public holiday by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus. As a result, even if needed, no investor is getting a chance to raise money by selling shares. In this situation, stakeholders and investors have demanded to start trading in the stock market before Eid.

Investors' capital is stuck due to non-trading in the stock market. As a result, most small investors have to live inhumane lives. Stock market investors are not getting any incentive.
Although limited in size, trading in the stock market should be started before Eid. Investors in trouble will be able to raise some money by selling shares.
Meanwhile, stakeholders say the government has decided to open a limited number of banks and garment shopping malls to save lives and livelihoods. Like banks, the stock market is also a service organization. Moreover, it does not require much manpower to transact in the stock market. Investors do not need to be present at a brokerage house to buy or sell shares.
Therefore, in the interest of investors, even if limited in size, stock market transactions should be introduced before Eid.

The floor price of the stock has been fixed to prevent the fall of the stock market. This will not allow the share price of any company to fall below a certain limit.
Since the share price of a company does not have a chance to go below the floor price, so there is no chance of a price fall.
Meanwhile, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) authorities took a policy decision to start trading in the stock market from May 10 during the general holiday. In this context, the Managing Director (MD) of DSE sent a letter to the Chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) seeking his consent.

The letter demanded the relaxation of some policies for the resumption of transactions. However, a committee meeting of the BSEC was needed to relax some policies. But the BSEC failed to hold a commission meeting on the quorum crisis.
In this context, BSEC sends it to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance sends it to the Ministry of Public Administration for comment. But DSE could not start trading from May 10 even after taking a policy decision as no decision has been taken. In this situation, the government has issued a notification last Thursday to extend the general holiday till May 30.
The circular did not include the stock market sector in the number of sectors related to emergency services in this circular. So if the special opportunity is not given, it will not be possible to trade in the stock market before Eid.

Stock markets launched in all countries. Banks and garments have been opened in our country to save lives and livelihoods. The capital market is also a service institution like a bank. Then why the capital market will be closed when the bank opens?

3 million investors in the capital market. These investors have lives and livelihoods. They need money. Why don't they get the right to withdraw their money?

Eid ahead. Investors will be disappointed. Outside investors will be disappointed. The global capital market that we are involved in will not have a good idea about us.
Now the question is if the stock market is opened before Eid, the transaction will be less. But due to the low turnover, the rights of investors cannot be violated.

The investor who needs the money will sell the shares and withdraw the money. It is his right. It is not right to deprive him of this right. Moreover, not everyone will go to sell shares. Whoever needs the money will sell the shares. On the contrary, many will go to buy shares.

Transactions in the stock market will be through electronics. Running a branch does not require staff like a bank. Two or three people are enough. Investors also do not have to come to the brokerage house. They will transact through mobile, e-mail, apps. Each brokerage house has multiple bank accounts. Investors can deposit money through bank branches of their choice.

Rumors are circulating that if trading is started in the stock market before Eid, it will collapse. That's not right. Because the floor price of the shares has been fixed. It is a landmark decision of the Prime Minister for the stock market. There is no chance of any stock falling below the set price due to setting the floor price. So there is no reason to collapse.

No one can say when the situation will be normal. Everyone has been living under house arrest for almost two months. Eid ahead. Everyone is in a kind of frustration with raising funds for this Eid.

Investors have been losing money in the market since the 2010 collapse. We are currently having a bad time. Many families do not have food at home. They are living a helpless life with their families.

China has spread 5 epidemics in 20 years, the US alleges

The United States has accused China of spreading five epidemics in 20 years. The number of corona cases in the world is increasing every day. Corona is still affecting 4.3 million people worldwide. Of these, about 1.4 million have been infected in the United States alone. There are still more than 82,000 people who have fallen to COVID 19. Robert O'Brien, the US National Security Adviser, made a shocking allegation.

He complained that 5 epidemics have spread from China in 20 years. These include SARS, avian flu, swine flu, and COVID 19. The whole world is in trouble for one country. But it may not last long. These must be stopped.

"We know the Coronavirus has spread from there," he said on Tuesday. There is multiple evidence of the virus spreading from the lab or the raw meat market. But China will never admit that. 'Although Robert mentioned four epidemics, he did not say which was the fifth epidemic.

About 3 lakh people have died due to corona infection in the world so far. Corona has the most impact on America. U.S. National Security Advisers Robert O'Brien said an investigation is underway to determine how Corona spread.

The United States has also accused Chinese hackers of trying to manipulate coronavirus vaccines. China has denied the allegations. "We are leading the world in the treatment of the coronavirus and the discovery of a vaccine," said Zhao Lijian. It's a conspiracy to discredit China. "
It goes without saying that the China-US conflict escalated.

The world record for winning the epidemic Corona

Anyone who is older is certain to die in Corona. 70 to 100 is out of the question. If the corona enters the body, it will come out with death. The statistics at least say so. But after a hundred? Suppose someone is over a hundred years old, what will happen to him? Doctors might say, death is certain. As in the case of Maria Branas, it is wrong.

Maria Branas is the oldest "Novel" winner in the world right now. Even at the age of 113, this American old woman is giving hope. The elderly are the most likely to die from the deadly virus. But exceptional Maria.

For the past 20 years, Maria's address has been the 'Santa Maria del Tura's care home in the Olt. Coronavirus symptoms appeared in the body of this woman over a hundred in April. The care home authorities immediately put her in isolation. According to the care home, she is healthy and had a negative result in the corona test last week. Bangladesh is the new 'hotspot' of Asia

While the number of deaths and infections are decreasing in many countries of the world, the incidence of corona is increasing day by day in Bangladesh.

Lockdown is being blamed as the main reason for this. Already 239 people have died in Corona in Bangladesh. The number of victims is 15,691. Bangladesh has risen to 34th in the world due to the record number of attacks. In just two months, it has surpassed India, Pakistan and Indonesia to reach the hotspots in Asia. In terms of population density and infection rate, this indicator of infection is terribly obvious.

Pakistan was the hotspot in Asia even a week ago due to the spread of coronavirus. However, in the last few days, India has overtaken Pakistan and risen to the top. And now Bangladesh is ahead of all its neighbors. The first corona patient was identified here on March 8. Since then, Bangladesh is setting a new record of being attacked every day. Bangladesh is becoming the next hotspot in Asia. Two months after the corona was identified, the picture became clearer.

The incidence of the corona is increasing due to relaxation of lockdown, 1034 people were infected in one day in Bangladesh.

On Monday, for the first time, the number of corona infections exceeded one thousand in one day. As such, the rate of corona infection in Bangladesh is much higher than in other Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore. Bangladesh ranks 34th in terms of the number of victims. In the last 24 hours, it has overtaken Ukraine and Romania to become the tenth most infected country in Asia. Bangladesh is now at the top of more than 50 countries in Asia in terms of infection rate.

Out of 2 lakh 94 thousand 894 samples in Pakistan, 30 thousand 941 were corona positive. The infection rate is 10.49 percent.

On the other hand, one lakh 29 thousand 865 people have been tested in Bangladesh till Monday. 15,691 people have been identified as infected. The infection rate is 12.08 percent.

In Singapore, out of one lakh 75 thousand 604 people, 23 thousand 822 people have been identified as the corona. The infection rate is 13.56 percent.

Out of one lakh 61 thousand 351 people in Indonesia, 14 thousand 265 people have been identified as the corona. The infection rate is 8.84 percent.

In all these countries, the corona test rate is three times higher than in Bangladesh. South Asian countries Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar have reported no deaths in the past few weeks. The number of victims in these countries is also small, less than one thousand.
Analysts say the corona test rate is still lower than in other countries, despite an increase in infections. Fear is growing as the lockdown relaxes during peak hours. The lockdown situation in the country has started to change. All types of vehicles except public transport are seen on the roads. The raw market was already open, along with other shops. Crowds are growing in front of the markets. Traffic jam has also started on the roads of Dhaka. As a result, the situation in the country is becoming increasingly difficult. In the first month, the number of daily attacks did not exceed 50. The number of infected people in the first four weeks was 218. 20 people died. However, from the beginning of the second month, the number of victims began to increase. On the first day of the third week of the second month of infection, the number of infections exceeds 500. Since then, about 500 people have been infected with the deadly virus every day.

91 people died in 9 days in the corona unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital!

Today is World Mother's Day

For whom every child sees the face of the earth, she is the mother. If anyone in the world can love unselfishly, she is the mother. Every time there is sorrow and happiness, the one who is by your side in affectionate love is the mother. And to get the love of the mother is never necessary to say, love. Today is World Mother's Day.

Every year the second Sunday of May is celebrated as World Mother's Day. Although there is no set time to love and respect mother, today is the day to remember mother with deep affection.

Although World Mother's Day was celebrated in ancient Greece, it was introduced in modern times by an American woman. When a woman named Anna Jarvis of the United States died in 1905, her daughter Anna Maria Reeves Jarvis sought to commemorate her mother's work. One Sunday in 1907, Anna Maria explained the importance of a day for mothers in a school speech.

On May 8, 1914, the US Congress declared the second Sunday in May to be Mother's Day. This is how the journey of Mother's Day begins. In continuation of this, besides America, Mother's Day is now being celebrated with dignity in hundreds of countries including Bangladesh, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Russia, and Germany. However, due to Corona, no formality will be seen on this day. That is why no child will be stingy to get a mother's love in the house.

Who else in the world is like a mother! So every year this day reminds us of the dignity of the beloved mother.

Some are beside people, some are stealing rice

Some are beside people, some are stealing rice. In fact, no one's behavior changes under any circumstances. Not even in bad times. In the past, people used to lie in wait like vultures to make a profit from famine, epidemic, and war. They became rich by stealing government rice and pulses and selling food allotted to the poor on the black market.

The food crisis has been caused by the lockdown. The amount of grain required is not available. There are long lines of hungry people, mostly poor people who depend on help from the private sector. In the meantime, all the rice and wheat provided by the government are being stolen. That grain is either being extorted from ration dealers or is being secretly removed. Someone is stockpiling to sell at a higher price in the future.

Very few organizations have stood by the helpless, poor, marginalized people almost everywhere in the country. Somewhere they are collecting and distributing food, somewhere they are distributing protection materials, somewhere they are standing at the door of people in case of emergency. Numerous young people have joined this work. They are doing this in accordance with the health rules for maintaining physical distance, using that rule as an excuse, and not sitting idle at home.

Many organizations that do not have a political identity also stand by the people. In addition to voluntary organizations, ordinary people are organizing themselves and working for relief and assistance. Helping needy people in the neighborhood. But rice theft is also happening in this country. The only difference is the attitude. Apart from the Chief Minister and one or two other ministers, the activities of the other ministers were not noticed by the people.

It is now common knowledge that the country's administration has tried to minimize infections and deaths. The government itself has lost its credibility. Similarly, the leaders of the ruling party did not do as much as they could to control the infection.

The epidemic has shown who knows how to be by the side of the people and who is busy in business even in the bad times of the people.
