Bollywood star Irrfan Khan has died. He breathed his last at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. Irfan Khan was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai due to illness. He was 54 years old at the time of his death. He was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday with respiratory problems. He was kept under observation in the ICU due to a colon infection. Earlier in 2019, Irfan said that he was suffering from neuroendocrine tumors.
In a tweet on Wednesday morning, director Sujit Sarkar announced Irfan's death. "Dear friend Irfan," he wrote on Twitter. You fought. I am always proud of you. We will meet again. There was compassion for Sutapa and Babylon. You also fought. So you fought with everything. Om Shanti. Irfan Khan salutes you. Irfan's death has cast a shadow of mourning over the film world.
He is survived by his wife Sutapa and two children. Irfan's mother Sayeda Begum passed away last week. The actor could not attend his mother's funeral in Jaipur due to lockdown.
Incidentally, Irfan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2016. After that, he got treatment from abroad for one year. Irfan's movie 'English Medium' was released in March.
Even then he was not seen in the campaign as his body was ill. However, after a few days of Corona's capture, the screening of this film was stopped.
Irfan Khan acted in the movie 'Doob' by Bangladeshi producer Mostafa Sorayar Farooqi. This movie brought him special recognition to the people of Bangladesh.
