What is happening in the dream country of America?

What is happening in the dream country of America?

After Abraham Lincoln was elected President of the United States in 1860, he declared independence in eleven southern states. Not only did they want to secede in proposing the abolition of slavery, but they also had financial differences with the industrialized northern states. The persecution of the Ku Klux Klan has not stopped yet. This association is still secretly active throughout America. Black people, African-Americans, came to America as slaves. Millions of slaves were brought from Africa. Fifteen ships regularly brought slaves from Africa to the port of Liverpool. In the end, 32 ships were engaged in bringing slaves. Queen Elizabeth I of England also had a ship engaged in the slave trade. In 1861, the number of slaves brought to America stood at four million. The kings and queens of different European countries had no rules about money. They could have been very ruthless when it came to money. The king of Belgium bought the Congo in Africa. While collecting rubber there, King Leopard II killed one crore, disobedient porters. The wrist had to be cut and submitted to keep track of the bullets. It is said that about one and a half crore people have died due to the oppression of his misrule or the disease imposed on the local people, the horrible life of malnutrition. The southern part of America is rich in agriculture and the northern part is rich in the industry. Slaves were needed for agriculture and gardening in the south, so they bought more slaves. The owners' treatment of slaves was ruthless. A section of civil society did not like this cruelty. The American Charter of Independence is very well-organized. But it is very sad that in these two great documents the architects of freedom were completely silent about slavery. But even then slaves were a large group of people.

The highways of the whole of America. Just because of the murder of a black man? No, there are more reasons behind this? Martin Luther King Jr., a black leader, formed the Civil Rights Movement against the human rights, political, economic, and discrimination of blacks in America. In 1983, Luther King delivered his famous "I Have a Dream" speech in front of millions of people in front of the Lincoln Memorial. But in 1986, he was shot dead by white men. It is said that after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., the leader of the black civil rights movement in 1986, there was no such outcry against racism in the United States.

We have been talking about the deprivation of blacks for the last fifty years. The law has been made, but they are not yet equal in that sense; There is racism everywhere in disguise. However, the black son Barack Obama was elected President of the United States.

Former US President Barack Obama has said that the ongoing protests against the assassination of George Floyd could start a new chapter in The United States. He asked the angry people to look at the state and local elections. He called for turning this moment into a "real turning point" to bring "true opportunity". The first black president in US history, Barack Obama, condemned the violent protesters.

When the United States passed the Civil Rights Act for blacks in 1974 and the Suffrage Act in 1975, whites said they would not abide by any law that would force blacks to maintain relations. Martin Luther King, Jr., then said, "It is true that love cannot be obtained from anyone by law, but the law can save me from its oppression." The law was made 56 years ago.

Obama was more popular than Hillary Clinton, the wife of former President Bill Clinton, who was popular and the Secretary of State was able to run for president and was elected twice. But that beauty is turned to dust by racists and fanatics.

Proof that not all whites in America are racist is the fact that despite being 72 percent white, 14 percent of blacks have made Barack Obama president, and whites are still in the movement, protesting with blacks against racism. That means not all Americans are racist.

A week of protests, looting, arson, and arson in the United States where black and white people are seen together means that many are protesting against racism. Is Trump trying to take advantage of this? Do you want to take the result of the November election in favor of the white-black divide? One thing is noticeable in world politics. That is, the two largest democracies in the world are the United States and India. Both countries, however, have survived on the ticket of racism and religiosity. In India, the BJP is reaping the full benefits of Hindu-Muslim riots and divisions. In exactly the same way, the black-and-white divide in the United States means that racists like Trump are guaranteed a second term in power. Here is another thing - the powerful in the world, that is, those who are in power, have nothing to do to satisfy their own goals, to implement their own vested interests, to solidify their own party agenda. They do not want to see their country being subjected to extreme humiliation and extreme damage in order to satisfy their base interests. They stay in power with the help and support of extremists, fanatics, and racists. Everyone in the world thinks of the United States as the paradise on earth, the safest and most comfortable place in the world. Educated, highly educated, politicians from all over the world seem to have their last address there. Educated, highly educated people from all over the world flock to America in legal, illegal ways. Even if you walk the streets of the United States all year round, you don't see the police (except the traffic police). Although there are no cases of police harassing anyone, their appearance and tactics are different in international politics. Extreme riots in America, the police are beating people with sticks.

On May 25, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a police officer named Drake Choubin brutally murdered a black man named George Floyd. The whole world has witnessed it thanks to social media. He was arrested on May 29 but released on 500 bail. Violent anti-apartheid protests are raging across the United States.

Trump, angry over the loss of life in clashes with police, has vowed to crack down on protesters, but people have taken to the streets, ignoring everything. Democrat senator and former U.S. presidential candidate Mr. "US highways are covered in black murders," Harris said. "There is no difference between the socio-economic system of today's America and the apartheid system in South Africa," said Robert Rice, Clinton's secretary of labor.

The United States is now in a state of shock with coronavirus. The death toll at Covid-19 has exceeded one million, with over 1.6 million infected. Of the millions of people who died in Corona in the U.S., 40 percent were black. The coronavirus has left more than four million people unemployed in the United States. Inefficiency in the health sector, the economic downturn, the thought of winning the next election are all in one leg. For this reason, it is not uncommon to think that Trump has adopted a strategy of diverting people's attention. The ultimate animal that sleeps in all human beings wakes up as soon as it gets the environment, exposes its cruel, inhuman, and cruel face and gives it a paw-like an animal.

Slavery has been abolished in this country but another slavery has been introduced instead. Black and white inequality is prevailing in the state. This is the worst chapter in history. We remember that in 2014, a black man named Eric Garner was strangled to death by white police in New York. He was arrested on suspicion of selling cigarettes illegally. Also in Kentucky, a medical engineer was killed after breaking into his flat.

The Minneapolis Police Department fired four of their officers immediately following Floyd's death. Among them is 44-year-old Derek Choubin, who has a knee around Floyd's neck. But even then, the fire of protest is spreading beyond the United States and around the world. People have taken to the streets in many parts of the world, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand.

Protests have taken place in front of US embassies in Germany, Britain, Canada, China, and other countries. They are raising their voices against discrimination and racism as well as ensuring justice for the killings. But President Trump is not in favor of repression. He called on the country's governors to use force and seize the roads from protesters. In some cities, however, law enforcement officers were seen marching and walking with protesters. Elsewhere, however, riot police have continued to use force. The number of protesters arrested has exceeded 10,000. Trump also warned that he would deploy troops if state governors did not agree to deploy the National Guard. "If a city or state refuses to take the necessary steps to protect the lives and property of its residents, I will deploy troops to the United States and bring a speedy solution on their behalf," he said.

But Defense Minister Mark Asper himself has opposed the deployment. Four former US presidents - Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush - have also spoken out in support of the protests. Jimmy Carter says silence can also turn from violence to suicide. He called on all to stand up against discrimination by upholding power, privileged status, and moral awareness. Not only the three former presidents of the Democratic Party but also former Republican President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush has condemned the brutal suffocation of Floyd. Addressing Trump, he said, "Now is not the time to speak, it's time to listen."

Placards in their hands, slogans in their faces. They chanted slogans including the trial of Floyd's murder and Black Lives Matter. Apart from some incidents of arson, arson, and looting, this protest is gaining the support of the citizens. So far, more than 4,000 people have been arrested across the country during the protests. Chiara, the daughter of New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, is one of them.

Several large retailers, including Walmart and Target, have closed their stores due to unrest in many places. Now the question is, by capitalizing on this incident of George Floyd, will the Democrat camp be able to win public opinion in their favor by showing how much America is in danger and weakened by Trump's misrule? Or will the Trump camp deliberately add fuel to the fire and make the black-white divide more pronounced before the election?

It's not uncommon for Trump to be re-elected unilaterally by a majority of whites.

Vitamin D is closely related to cytokine in the human body

Sit on the verandah in the sun with your arms and legs spread, Corona will flee. In any event not near your limits. Regardless of whether you are tainted, you will recoup without any problem. That is the thing that researchers state. This is on the grounds that Vitamin D extraordinarily improves the human body's protection from the battle of the adversary. That implies crown sweet potato is nutrient D. The Covid-19 infection isn't a life form.

However, when it enters the human body, it expects mental self-view. Vadim Beckman, a teacher of biomedical designing at Northwestern University in the United States, has concocted another approach to dispose of this fatal foe. Educator Beckman dissected information from Italy, China, Spain, France, and Germany to show that individuals with low degrees of nutrient D were bound to be contaminated with the coronavirus. Despite what might be expected, the individuals who have more nutrient D in their bodies are more beneficial.

After the distribution of the exploration paper of Beckman and his partners, there was a ton of conversation about this in various nations. Analysts with the Covid-19 infection have started testing the capability of nutrient D once more. As indicated by a gathering of specialists, various nations have diverse wellbeing rehearses. Once more, how fruitful is this examination in a circumstance where the character of the crown is changing as indicated by the age differs as indicated by the geological character?

Beckman's reasonable reaction is, "It's not the finish of the story.” Because, in health hygiene, northern Italy is the best in the world. But some of the residents of that part could not control their COVID because of high vitamin D. Another part of the population has been infected with vitamin D deficiency.

According to Beckman and his colleagues, vitamin D is closely related to cytokine storms in the human body. In the words of Dr. Pratip Kundu, Head of the School of Tropical Medicine, “This cytokine storm destroys all cells, much like hired thugs. Acute inflammation of the lungs, trachea. The affected person's breathing is severe. Blood clots. ” On the other hand, according to medical experts say, people who have vitamin D in their bodies do not have this problem. Therefore, keeping children in the sun for a while reduces the problem of cold and fever, and "Vitamin D destroys the mucus in the cells."

Exactly like George Floyd, another police-murder video in America is viral

The number of victims could not be stopped even after the lockdown.  In this situation, US President Donald Trump has repeatedly called for a lockdown. One shocking piece of information after another came up about American police torture around racism. Another black man named El Derrick Oli Scott died in connection with the assassination of George Floyd. The video, released by Oklahoma City Police went viral recently. Seeing that, the Americans are blowing in anger again. The video of Derrick's death was shot on a policeman's body camera. After all this time, the video came back like a boomerang for the police. The video shows a white policeman kneeling at Derrick's neck, just like George. According to police reports, Derrick was asked to surrender for illegal possession of firearms. The policeman is sitting there with his knees pressed to Derrick's neck. After so many days, the storm of criticism has started again as soon as the video came out. Even in the very recent past in America, George is just another name. 2013 to 2019 - In these 8 years, 6 black people have died at the hands of the police in America.  Blacks make up 13 percent of America's population. People of all races have joined in the protest against George's assassination. Video-pictures of one old incident after another is coming up from that source. Not a single month has gone by in these years when the Americans have not killed a black person anywhere by the police. On average, one black person has been 'murdered' in 28 days. In 2019, 1014 people were killed in police firing in America. Most of those killed in police shootings were black Americans. Blacks in California, Florida, and Texas have been subjected to horrific police brutality.

"The situation is getting worse by the day," said a WHO official

"The situation is getting worse by the day," said a WHO official. The epidemic of the novel coronavirus has already spread around the world. This time the situation is getting worse. The COVID-19 infection is gradually getting out of control. World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus expressed such concern after a record number of people were infected worldwide on Sunday. "The situation is deteriorating day by day," the WHO director-general told a news conference on Monday. In the last ten days, more than 1 lakh people have been infected with a corona in 9 days. And most of it is coming from Latin America and South Asian countries. This is because the state of the health system in these so-called underdeveloped or developing countries remains the same. Ghebriosus thinks the problem is exacerbated by protests around the world, including in the United States, over racism. "The World Health Organization supports this fight against apartheid," he said. But at the same time, I would say that those who are protesting should take care of their safety. Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter from others. ' Speaking at a virtual press conference on Monday, the WHO Director-General said, "Despite the temporary improvement in the situation in European countries, the horrors around the world are increasing. In the last ten days, more than 1 lakh people have been infected with a corona in 9 days. " More worryingly, 75 percent of these large numbers of infections live in the United States and South Asian countries. Ghabriosus thinks complacency is the biggest problem in countries where the situation is improving. "More then six months have passed since the outbreak. So this is not a time for any country to slow down, "said the WHO chief.

The second budget session of the current parliament of Bangladesh is starting on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. The session will begin at 5 pm with Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury in the chair. Health protection has been strengthened ahead of the session. Elderly and sick MPs have been advised not to attend the session. Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury, chief whip of the ruling party, said that while there was a risk in the Corona situation, strict precautions were being taken to deal with it. All necessary steps have already been taken to ensure that no newcomers are infected from the budget session. He also said that elderly and sick MPs have been requested not to attend the session. Meanwhile, as part of the Corona caution, the eighth (budget) session of Parliament has been shortened. On the first day, the activities will end by raising the ordinance and accepting the mourning proposal. As per custom, the session will be adjourned after the discussion on the mourning motion on the death of the current Member of Parliament Habibur Rahman Mollah. The next day, on June 11, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will raise the budget proposal for the fiscal year 2020-2021.

The proposed budget will be discussed in just 5 days. And the whole budget will be spent in the process of passing 10 days. In that case, a maximum of 20 hours of budget discussion can take place. There were about 60 hours of discussion last year. This discussion will continue every day from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The budget will be passed on June 29 and the main budget on June 30. In just 12 working days, the shortest budget session in the history of the country may end on July 9. Officials of the Parliament Secretariat said that due to the Corona situation, the meeting of the Parliamentary Advisory Committee is not being held before this session. Earlier, due to constitutional constraints, the working advisory committee did not meet even before the seventh session of the one-day parliament on April 16.

And the special initiative has been taken to keep the attendance in the Parliament session among 90 people. Whip Abu Saeed Al Mahmoud Swapan has been assigned to coordinate the matter. Meanwhile, strict restrictions have been imposed ahead of the session. Every year on the day of the budget presentation, diplomats of different countries, important personalities of the state were present but no one was invited this time. Moreover, the presence of the officers and employees of the Parliament Secretariat to conduct the session has also been restricted. Only those who need it will come. And their samples were tested and confirmed as corona negative and kept in quarantine. Concerned people said that the arrangement of seats in the parliament has also been changed to prevent corona infection. In that case, several seats around the Prime Minister will be left vacant. As part of that, Parliamentary Whip Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury, sitting in the seat just behind the Prime Minister, will have to sit in a row. Others' seats have also been left blank. Members of Parliament who join Parliament must observe hygiene rules. Everyone has been forced to wear a mask. In addition, everyone has to enter through the disinfection chamber placed inside the tunnel.

Meanwhile, 6 MPs have already been attacked by Corona. Jessore-4 (Bagharpara-Abhaynagar) MP Ranjit Kumar Roy has been infected with the latest coronavirus. He was admitted to the isolation ward of Jessore Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Monday night after he tested positive for corona.

Earlier, as Corona tested positive, Bir Bahadur Ushaising, a Member of Parliament from Bandarban constituency in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and Minister in charge of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, was brought to CMH from Bandarban by helicopter. Among the corona victims, Sirajganj-1 MP and former health minister Mohammad Nasim is still in critical condition.  He was admitted to Bangladesh Specialized Hospital on June 1 with pneumonia. However, the first Corona-affected MP, Mohammad Shahiduzzaman Sarkar of Naogaon-2 constituency, has already fully recovered.

Besides, Ebadul Karim Bulbul of Brahmanbaria-5 constituency, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury of Chittagong-6 constituency, Faridul Haque Khan Dulal of Jamalpur-2 constituency and Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury of Chittagong-16 (Banshkhali) constituency have also been attacked.

Death of George Floyd will change the world.

Democrat candidate Joe Biden has said that the death of George Floyd will change the world. He met with the Floyd family in person in Houston and expressed his condolences. He then told CBS News that the death of George Floyd would be a great reflection in the history of the United States. Meanwhile, the death of George Floyd, a young man of African descent at the hands of white police officers, has become a symbol of anti-apartheid protests around the world. His funeral is scheduled for the end of Tuesday in Houston. Joe Biden says about his family, his wonderful family. The little girl was at his house. She says Dad went to change the world. I also think his father is changing the world. I think what happened here is a great reflection point in the realities of American history in dealing with people with civil liberties, civil rights, and dignity. Benjamin Krump, a spokesman for Floyd's family, said Floyd's relatives welcomed Joe Biden's remarks.

This means that the world is by the side of this grieving family. An aide to former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said he would record a video message for Tuesday's funeral. Meanwhile, mourners stood for six hours outside The Fountain of Prayer Church in Houston, Texas, to pay their respects to George Floyd's body. He was previously honored in Minneapolis, North Carolina. What is the progress of the case Meanwhile, Derek Chauvin, a white and sacked police officer, appeared in court for the first time on Monday on charges of murdering George Floyd? There his bail was set at 12 lakh 50 thousand dollars. On the day of the incident, Chauvin kept his knees firmly on George Floyd's shoulders for about 9 minutes. But that did not deter Chauvin and his comrades. Floyd was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Three other police officers have been arrested on charges of collaborating. Prosecutors said the bail amount was more than USD 1 million, citing the severity of the allegations and public outrage. Chauvin is scheduled to appear in court on June 29. Meanwhile, Democrats have raised a proposal in Congress to reform the American police. If this bill is passed, it will be easier for the police to prosecute for misconduct. But it is unclear whether the bill will pass. Because the control of the US Senate is in the hands of the Republicans. It is unclear whether they will support the bill. Anti-apartheid protests erupted in the United States shortly after the assassination of George Floyd. That protest has been going on for three weeks. Massive demonstrations have taken place in cities like Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Protests have spread to different countries of the world.

All's well that ends well.

The coronal period, meaning the last five months, has shown us a changed situation on various issues. It also gives an opportunity to rearrange all the old ideas.  It has also given birth to new ideas about health, education, trade, jobs, etc. There is little doubt that these will become part of our lives in the future. The least important thing we can do is save.

The idea is, there is no money, what to save?

But during this time, we saw that almost everyone thought that if the work was stopped for a month or two, then they would have to give up whatever they had accumulated. And what will happen if the job is lost in Corona Damadol or the business is not able to start anew, many people have spent and are spending depressing days thinking about that? Bigger than that, the days ahead will be difficult for middle and low-income people. The most pronounced word in the coronal period is death. Then there is probably the more pronounced word economy. Many countries have also relaxed the lockdown, putting aside all worries of death and infection in order to save the economy. Many countries have opened their borders to boost their economies, welcoming tourists. If this is the situation in a country, then what is your situation as a person?

Why save Experts say that in the next two years, the impact of the corona may fall on us again and again. But no one has yet decided what the features will be.  It is also expected that the lockdown will be more severe in the coming days. Otherwise, the death rate cannot be reduced. As a result, you may be stuck in the house for a long time. And if that is the case, then this experience means that the job and business situation will be worse then. It is difficult to start a new business or find a lost job. Just as the uprooted people stood in line for relief in this year's lockdown, so did the middle and small businessmen, the working people, and the middle and low-income people. At least that's what we've seen in the media and in the news of relief efforts. There may be accounts of deaths from corona infections, but who keeps track of people who die in the worry of saving a family? This year's lockdown has shown us that there is little difference between the lives of middle-class workers and those of a rickshaw puller or a beggar on the sidewalk. If the economic flow is not uninterrupted, then just as those people will not eat in a week's lockdown, so can middle-class workers in a two-month lockdown. Commodity prices will continue to rise in the coming days. The field news is that the price of paddy has increased even in the busy boro season as compared to last time. Farmers are expecting the price of paddy to go up further. According to experts, the price of paddy will increase this time as well. In other words, the price of paddy will continue to rise throughout the year. If the price of the paddy goes up, the price of rice will go up naturally. Due to the lockdown, the companies that could not do business during Eid, especially restaurants, fashion houses, they will increase the price of their products, even if it is to the detriment of something. So there is no doubt that prices will rise even if the prices of commodities do not double everywhere, from essentials to luxury goods. So think about saving, so that you don't have to worry about living with your family in the new situation.

How to save what lessons have you learned in the last five months?

To prevent infection, health awareness is a must to stay healthy. But have you noticed that during this time of coronation you have become accustomed to unpretentious life without your knowledge? A lot of unnecessary things have taken their toll on your life. Notice, your dining table is healthier than before and it costs less. You have spent time under house arrest without eating outside. There are very few people who buy luxury items or unnecessary things without the necessary purchases during the whole time of lockdown. Due to a lack of vehicles, he went to almost all the nearby places on foot in case of an emergency. You will see that the money you have saved is enough to turn your head. Use these good habits in the future and see that you can save a large part of the money you used to earn every month. Remember, savings do not just mean depositing money in a bank; specifically, well-controlled spending or controlled living are also big savings. Or start with a few of you. But do not invest money anywhere thinking it will be a lot of profit.

Area-based lockdown is starting

The issue of the number of corona patients identified area-wise in corona prevention and control activities through area-based lockdown has come under discussion. Considering the number of corona patients identified in the country, Dhaka division is in the first place among the departments. The department has 69 percent of corona patients in the country. Chittagong and Mymensingh
divisions are in the second and third place. Chittagong district (2998 people) is in the first position among the districts. Narayanganj (2598 people) and Dhaka (1458 people) districts are in the second and third places respectively. In terms of the number of patients in Dhaka City, the Mirpur area (whole Mirpur) is in the first place with 1124 people. Mohakhali (471 people) and Uttara (456 people) are in second and third places respectively. Besides, more than 400 corona patients have been identified in Mugda and Mohammadpur of Dhaka City, more than 300 in Jatrabari, Kakrail, and Dhanmondi and more than 200 corona patients in Magbazar, Tejgaon, Khilgaon, Rajarbagh, Lalbagh, Rampura, and Badda. According to the government's Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).

The government is going to start an area-based (zone) lockdown. The government will identify red, yellow, and green zones according to the level of risk of coronavirus infection. The most affected areas will be marked as red, the least affected areas as yellow, and the least affected or unaffected areas as green zones. The red zone will be locked down, and steps will be taken to prevent further infections in the yellow zone. There will be caution in the green zone as well. So the importance of area-based corona identification numbers has come to the fore.

The highest number of corona patients in Dhaka city Mirpur (1124 people) - IEDCR.

New York City- Funny Curfew!

Countless cars are running on the road. Neighborhood Street is everywhere, starting from highways. There is pedestrian movement as usual. Essential goods stores are open. There is a lot of trading. But according to the government announcement, the curfew is going on in the city. Such a strange curfew has been observed for the last week in New York, one of the top cities in the world. But curfews in New York and many other major cities in the United States over the past few days have completely changed that notion. That means at least 80 percent of the city's residents are unfamiliar with the curfew. At one stage of the tumultuous protests that erupted across the country in protest of his assassination, anarchy like looting began somewhere. The curfew on the first day was from 11 pm to 5 am.

But on the first day, it was seen that looting was going on in several areas of New York before the curfew started. At the same time, protests and rallies of the protesters are going on. However, the protesters have always said that they have nothing to do with the looting. It is the responsibility of the government to stop looting. In that situation, the start of the curfew from Tuesday was set at 6 pm. In such a background, there were clashes between the protesters and the police. Hundreds of protesters were arrested in connection with the clashes.

However, during the next few days of the curfew, the protests have been peaceful. From the beginning, almost half of the thousands of people who joined the protest rallies and demonstrations were white. In particular, for the past three days, protesters in several places in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York, have been protesting peacefully in the curfew until late at night.

City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the lifting of the curfew on Monday morning, a day ahead of schedule. Not only in New York but also in other cities in the United States where curfews were imposed in the wake of the George V Floyd murder trial and the increasingly violent movement demanding an end to racist persecution. Protests continued during the curfew.

Even in the city of Minneapolis where George Floyd was killed, the atmosphere is much calmer now. The right of movement, expression, and protest is protected with the utmost respect. That is why curfew has never been imposed in the last 77 years. Secondly, the curfew was imposed under duress but the military was not called in to enforce it. It is implemented through the local police administration. No force was used to disperse the protesters despite the curfew being lifted. But in the last few days, protesters have peacefully rallied.
